(1) In relation to the petition submitted to the meeting of the committee according to rule 4, the committee shall decide whether or not to provide legal aid to the petitioner subject to the Act, these regulations and the policy guidelines determined by the central committee from time to time.
(2) When making a decision according to sub-rule (1), the nature of the applicant's case, the time limit for filing the case or the deadline for filing a reply shall be considered and the decision shall be made within forty-five days at the most from the date of filing of the application.
(3) According to sub-rule (2), information about the decision made by the committee will be provided to the concerned applicant.
